Why couldn't they have had one of these when I was growing up??? I would've made car trips much nicer! Carter went with me to my hip Dr. (for the 1st time) in Tulsa today...really quick trip. Can I just say that Carter is such a good boy. Don't get me wrong, we've had our wonderful tantrums in Wal-Mart but I tell you what. He was no problem at all. He entertained the nurse and dr. and it was a pleasure to have him come along. The portable DVD player is a wonderful invention!!! He just loves his movies and it makes the time pass for him a lot quicker.

On a side note...a few days ago we got a new video camera. It's the cutest thing!!! It's this little Flip Video recorder that has a flash drive installed and just flips out when you push a button and you plug the whole thing into your computer when you want to post things. You can video up to 60 mins. You can also make a still photo from any of your videos after loading them on the computer. It's a really neat thing and I recommend it to anyone! It's so small that it fits in my purse! Now I can carry it around with me and I'll have a video recorder whenever I need one and I won't have to remember to carry my big camera with me!

Anyway, to get back to the DVD player. He was watching Transformers on the way home and it was too loud (our next investment will be headphones). I told him to turn it down and in his pleading yet perswasive voice he said, "BUT ITS SOOO GOOD WHEN IT'S LOUD, YOU CAN HEAR THE ACTION!" I died laughing, told him I didn't want to hear the action and asked him to turn it down again. He did and still has no idea why I was laughing at him! I just love the funny little things he says...he's such a cute kid!!!

My dr. visit went fine. He took more xrays and said that my hip is continuing to heal. The bone is still not completely fused back together yet but it is improving. I have another month of physical therapy and then go back to see him in April. He says that he thinks the pain I'm still experiencing is going to go away eventually and although it's slow going...continue to do what I'm doing...I guess the news could have been bad. It's just frustrating because it's taking so long. So, I continue on my journey!!!

Here are some pics from/of the new video camera! Hope you enjoy!
